How is my leave calculated?
Your leave deduction is smart! It checks your team's specific 'Working Days' configuration. Days the office is closed (e.g., weekends) are NOT deducted.
Can I manage public holidays?
Yes, admins can manage public holidays in Settings. Default holidays are added automatically based on your region, but you can add extra team-specific holidays too.
How does pro-rating work?
When a new member joins your team mid-year, TeamLeave automatically pro-rates their allowance based on their start date and your organization's leave year. No manual adjustment needed.
Can we track leave in hours?
Yes. You can toggle your display preference between Days and Hours at any time. This is perfect for teams with varying shift lengths where every hour counts.
Can an Admin book leave for a team member?
Absolutely. As an admin, you can picker any team member and submit a request on their behalf. Admin-made bookings are also automatically approved.
How do I set my team's Working Schedule?
Admins can toggle which days your team works (e.g. Mon-Fri) and set exact start/end times. This immediately updates calculation logic across the whole team.
What happens if my plans change?
Simply go to the 'My Leave' tab and tap 'Withdraw' to cancel a request. It's that easy. Note that past dates can only be removed by an Admin.
Can I export data for payroll?
Yes. Admins can export both a detailed 'Leave History' and a 'Balance Summary' via CSV, perfect for integration with your existing payroll or HR systems.
Does TeamLeave work with my calendar?
Absolutely. You can subscribe to a live iCal feed of your team's approved leave, which works with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook.
